Tin Can Bird Feeders

We probably have been stocking up with more canned goods, so why not take those extra tin cans and make art.  These bird feeders are easy and a quick way to add some color in the garden.

Materials

• Large can
• Decorative art paper, tissue, or thick napkins
• Mod Podge
• Garden twine
• Paintbrush or sponge brush
• Scissors
• Good quality birdseed

Wash tin can and remove any labels.  Apply a layer of Mod Podge with your paintbrush or sponge brush and place your decorative paper.  Apply another layer of Mod Podge over paper to protect finished feeder.  Tie twine around can and hang with birdseed.  If the opening rim of the can is rough, use some sandpaper or a metal file to smooth.
